BANDA DE LA MUERTE: Pulso de una Mente Maldita review on Rock Music Critic

"...........The album appears to be sung all in Spanish, so that means it will never make my regular listening rotation. This is too bad, because I am actually digging the sound of this album. The music sounds like a heavy rock with metal and punk influences. There is some cool stoner-style guitar playing and the vocals are fairly clean with a slight edge. Occasionally things get a little heavier and bring to mind the metal/punk fusion showcased so well on “Chaos A.D.” by Sepultura.

The production feels rather mellow. The album does not have a hard in-your-face punchy sound but instead has a soft, warm feeling that works surprisingly well with the songs. I would normally say I would like something a bit punchier, but this does work given the style and material....."
